Hi, I’m Dia Becchio — designer, coach, and certified personality-type-obsessed nerd. I was born and raised right here in beautiful Santa Barbara, and this city has completely shaped the way I see the world — warm, curious, creative, and just a little bit obsessed with good aesthetics.
We believe business should feel a little bit like Santa Barbara itself — grounded, inspired, and full of light.
Santa Barbara Design Collective was born out of that same spirit — a mix of laid-back beauty and get-stuff-done energy.
After fifteen years running my own design company, leading creative teams as a Marketing Director, and building brands as a VP of Business Development, I realized something simple:
Strategy and design don’t have to fight. They can dance. Preferably to good music, under string lights, with a cup of coffee in hand.
So that’s what we do here.
